Tresemme Heat Protectant Vs Loreal Studio Line Hot Straight Spray

Hey beauties! I am going to do a comparison between Tresemme heat protectant and the Loreal Studio line hot and straight spray. The Tresemme heat protectant is something you probably have already tried. The Loreal Studio line is what I decided to try for the first time and here are my thoughts on it.

The packaging for the Tresemme is not the best, it is quiet dull as it is plain black. It is quiet large so it has quiet a lot of product in it. I have to admit though I prefer the packaging of the Loreal one because it is pink and stands out more. It is smaller though and not much product fits in it compared to the Tresemme.
However, the Tresemme heat defence is on the pricier side but it is worth it as you are getting more product for the price of it. The Loreal studio line is not as pricy compared to the Tresemme.

Both heat protectants protect against temperatures up to 230 degrees which is what I use my hair straighteners at so it is perfect. The Tresemme heat protectant makes my hair feel slightly sticky when I spray it on my hair which is slightly annoying. However it takes away the friziness which is great as my hair is very frizzy as I get out of the shower. It doesn't have a particular smell but I don't like the way it smells either.

The Loreal studio line hot straight spray is great as it leaves my hair frizz free and it doesn't give that sticky feeling to my hair. It also makes my hair smooth and straight which stays up to three days. It does two jobs for the price of one. So after comparing the two products I have to say both heat protectants are amazing however the Loreal studio line hot and straight spray is my favourite.

  1. What one's cheaper? Brilliant comparison, it would be great if you included the price :) xx

  2. I don't use heat protectors much as I find they leave my hair feeling so heavy! When I do though, I use the Toni & Guy one :)xx
